Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, our representative will meet you at your guesthouse/hotel lobby and transfer you to Bwindi Forest. This forest serves as a base for relaxation and exploring the pearl of Africa while tracking mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

After an early morning breakfast, your ranger/tour guide will brief you before starting the gorilla trekking journey. You'll enter the dense rainforest (gorilla sanctuary), rich with animal trails for tracking the resident animals. The highlight is finding the mountain gorillas in the misty Bwindi forest. The trek involves challenging hikes through rugged terrain, taking 2 to 8 hours depending on the gorillas' movements. You will spend one hour with these primates as they forage, socialize, and interact under the watchful eyes of the Silverback. Observing and photographing them offers a unique, inspiring experience. Afterward, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe

After breakfast, you will transfer back to Entebbe. There will be a stop at the Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe for lunch and an opportunity to see the equator marker and purchase African handicrafts and souvenirs. You can also take photos and observe a local demonstration showing the earth's division into the northern and southern hemispheres. This marks the end of the 3-day gorilla trekking safari in Uganda.
