Day 1 Transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from the airport for an early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. The reserve remains one of the few locations on earth where wildlife continues to thrive relatively undisturbed, in quantities reminiscent of those that once populated Africa's plains and forests. As the northern extension of the extensive Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara accommodates the remarkable seasonal migration of countless wildebeest, zebras, and attendant predators. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Subsequently, you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2 Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

Following breakfast, we will embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. The reserve is renowned for its black-manned lions and its diverse resident wildlife. It is among the few places where it is possible to observe the Big Five during a morning game drive. Numerous cheetahs in the area are so acclimated to human presence that they seek shade under vehicles to escape the heat of the sun, with some even climbing onto the roofs to gain a vantage point for spotting prey.

For ornithologists and bird enthusiasts, the reserve boasts almost 500 recorded species. These include 16 species of eagles, numerous hawk and falcon species, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 species of bustards (including the kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.

Day 3 Transfer from Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

The schedule begins with a wake-up call at 6 am for a sunrise game drive. At 9 am, we will return to the accommodation for brunch, followed by departure for Nairobi. Lunch will be en-route, with an expected arrival in Nairobi late in the afternoon.
